These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the Plumb Simple Family Plan Membership ("Plan") offered by Plumb Simple Home Comfort ("Plumb Simple," "we," or "us"). By enrolling in the Plan, the purchaser ("you" or "Purchaser") agrees to the following:
1. Membership Coverage
1.1. The Plan includes priority service, discounted pricing, and two scheduled annual maintenance visits for your home systems during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
1.2. Any additional home visits outside the included two per year will be billed at the member rate of $49.00 per visit.
2. Annual Home Inspection Scheduling
2.1. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to contact Plumb Simple and schedule the annual inspection. While we will attempt to confirm an appointment up to three times, scheduling ultimately remains your responsibility.
2.2. The annual inspection must be booked during regular working hours and must be scheduled at least three (3) months in advance of the desired appointment date.
3. Emergency Service
3.1. 24/7 emergency service is available to Plan members but is reserved for true emergencies only.
3.2. An emergency is defined as a situation where there is active or imminent damage to property that cannot reasonably be controlled or mitigated by the homeowner or occupant. Examples include major flooding, an active water leak with no accessible shutoff, or a gas leak.
3.3. If a call is placed outside of regular business hours and the issue is deemed by our technician not to qualify as an emergency under the definition above, a non-emergency callout fee of $446.00 will apply.
3.4. Plumb Simple is not responsible for any damage that occurs during the time between the initial call and our arrival. We will make every effort to respond within 12 hours of your request, but response times may be extended due to external conditions such as severe weather, hazardous driving conditions, or our existing workload.
3.5. Plumb Simple is not responsible for damage caused by leaks or failures within the home that were not caused by our work.
4. Membership Payment Terms
4.1. Annual Plan: This Plan renews automatically each year unless cancelled by the Purchaser. The annual fee will be charged on the anniversary date of the original signup.
4.2. You may cancel the Plan by written notice or by calling 780-667-0760. If cancelled within the first 30 days, you will receive a full refund minus a $20 cancellation fee.
4.3. If you cancel after 30 days, a prorated refund will be issued based on the number of remaining months, regardless of whether any inspections or services have occurred.
4.4. If a scheduled payment is declined and not resolved within 30 days, your Plan may be cancelled automatically.
4.5. Upon cancellation, Plumb Simple is not obligated to perform any remaining inspections or services.
5. Plan Exclusions and Limitations
5.1. This Plan does not cover any part or labour costs for repairs. However, members receive discounted rates if repairs are performed by Plumb Simple.
5.2. We are not responsible for breakdowns or failures of your equipment, or for any failure to detect a defect during inspection.
5.3. This Plan does not include liability for any secondary, indirect, or incidental damages, or any injury or property damage, regardless of cause.
5.4. The Plan is not a warranty or insurance product and does not guarantee the continued performance of your equipment.
By enrolling in the Plumb Simple Family Plan, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions. These terms are subject to change with notice.
