Boiler System Warranty

Introduction

 Welcome to Plumb Simple Home Comforts Boiler System Warranty Program. We appreciate your trust in our products and services. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before proceeding, as they outline the rights and responsibilities associated with our warranty coverage. 

1. Coverage Period

 The warranty provided by Plumb Simple covers your boiler system for a period of two years from the date of installation. During this time, we undertake to rectify any issues arising from manufacturers' defects or faulty workmanship at no additional cost to you. 

2. Scope of Coverage

 a. Manufacturers' Defects: We commit to addressing any malfunction or non-performance of your boiler system resulting from inherent flaws in materials or construction.

b. Workmanship Defects: Our warranty extends to cover any deficiencies in the installation or service of the boiler system by our technicians.

3. Exclusions

 The warranty does not cover:

a. Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance of the boiler system.

b. Repairs or modifications carried out by unauthorized personnel or contractors.

c. Acts of nature, including but not limited to floods, fires, earthquakes, or other external events beyond our control.

4. Extended Service

Upon the expiration of the initial two-year warranty period, PSHC offers continued service and support for your boiler system for a fee. This extended service maintains the same level of assistance and expertise as during the warranty period. 

5. Service Calls

 a. To request service under warranty, please contact our customer service team promptly.

b. In the event of a service call, we reserve the right to charge for any repairs or replacements not covered by the warranty terms.

6. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta. Any disputes arising from or related to this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Alberta.

New Home Construction Plumbing Warranty

 

Plumb Simple Ltd. is committed to providing high-quality plumbing services and stands behind the work we perform. This warranty outlines the terms and conditions for plumbing systems installed in new home construction projects.


Warranty Coverage


  1. Scope of Warranty
    • This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for plumbing systems installed by Plumb Simple Ltd. for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion or home occupancy, whichever occurs first.


  1. What is Covered
    • Repairs or replacements for leaks, faulty installations, or defective materials.
    • Issues resulting from installation errors by Plumb Simple Ltd. personnel.


  1. What is Not Covered
    • Damage caused by improper use, negligence, or tampering with the plumbing system by homeowners, other contractors, or third parties.
    • Issues arising from water quality (e.g., hard water, mineral buildup, or corrosion).
    • Failures caused by acts of nature, including freezing, flooding, or earthquakes.
    • Wear and tear on fixtures, such as dripping faucets or worn-out parts, unless related to defective installation.
    • Consequential damages, such as water damage to personal property or loss of use.


Warranty Claim Process


  1. Notification
    • Any claims under this warranty must be reported to Plumb Simple Ltd. in writing within the warranty period. Please include a detailed description of the issue and any relevant documentation.


  1. Inspection and Repairs
    • Plumb Simple Ltd. reserves the right to inspect the plumbing system to determine the cause of the issue.
    • If the problem is covered under this warranty, Plumb Simple Ltd. will repair or replace the defective components at no additional charge to the homeowner.


  1. Service Fees
    • If the issue is found to be outside the scope of this warranty, service fees may apply. These fees will be communicated prior to any work being performed.


Homeowner Responsibilities


  1. Maintenance
    • The homeowner is responsible for maintaining the plumbing system, including draining outdoor water lines before freezing temperatures and ensuring proper use of fixtures.
    • Annual maintenance by a qualified plumber is recommended to ensure system longevity and performance.


  1. Access
    • The homeowner must provide reasonable access to the property to allow for inspection and repair work.


Payment Terms and Warranty Activation


  1. Full Payment
    • This warranty is valid only if all invoices related to the project have been paid in full.
    • Any outstanding balances will result in the suspension of warranty coverage until payment is received.


Limitation of Liability


  1. Exclusion of Consequential Damages
    • Plumb Simple Ltd. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from plumbing system failures, including water damage, mold growth, or personal property damage.


  1. Manufacturer Warranties
    • Components and fixtures installed as part of the plumbing system may carry separate warranties from their respective manufacturers. Plumb Simple Ltd. will assist in coordinating warranty claims with manufacturers but is not responsible for their policies or decisions.


Dispute Resolution


  1. Arbitration
    • Any disputes arising from this warranty will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with local laws.
